Absolutely loved our stay! Every evening, we kicked back in the beautiful garden with a nice drink and enjoyed the cozy lounge before heading to dinner, which was fantastic. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit hit or miss, but who needs that with such beautiful views and excellent food? 🍷

Exceptional Culinary and Personal Experience
I recently enjoyed a lovely two-night stay in a Superior Double Room with Garden View. The highlight was undoubtedly the exquisite dining experience. each meal was beautifully crafted and locally sourced, making every bite a delight. The warm welcome from Gary and Donna created an intimate atmosphere, making it feel like a home away from home. It would be great if the Wi-Fi were more consistent, as it was spotty at times during my stay.

the only downside was that we wished we could have stayed longer, and the wifi could be a bit better.

The Helvellyn room felt cramped compared to the descriptions!!! Wi-Fi performance could definitely use some improvement needing reliable connectivity!!!

The fried fish was a winner, perfectly crisped and packed with flavor, a true local gem! Dining with other guests over wine and canapés was the cherry on top. The staff made my husband’s stay delightful with gluten-free options on the breakfast menu and lovely service.
The internet was a bit dodgy, but let’s be real, you don’t come to The Lakes for Wi-Fi. The bed was a tad heavy on the linens for summer nights. No worries though. it didn't put a damper on our lovely stay.

Amazing stay in a cozy haven
We loved every minute! Gary and Donna are the best hosts, making us feel right at home. The food was seriously delicious. we even dined there all three nights! The views from the lounge are stunning too. A bummer was the spotty cell service, but honestly, it just added to the peace.
